EPS Pre Expansion Steps
1. Preheating
Open the cleaning door to remove the impurities in the cylinder, check whether the movable mixing rod is firm, and then close the cleaning door. Close the three valves on the control panel and close the feed gate. Start the mixing and feeding motor, and the mixing rod and feeding screw are idly running. At this time, open the steam valve to raise the temperature in the foaming cylinder to 70 ~ 75 ° C and keep it for 3 ~ 5 minutes.
2. Advance
Advance is divided into one advance and two advance. For one pre delivery, put about 8kg of raw materials into the hopper. After preheating, open the gate at the feeding port to make all the raw materials enter the pre launching machine. Close the feeding gate (at this time, the raw materials can be filled again). The raw materials in the machine will be released in advance gradually until the overflow source flows out of the pre sent beads. Open the raw material inlet to feed continuously, and at the same time, the overflow port continuously flows out the pre sent beads. At this time, it is necessary to adjust the valve and increase the temperature to obtain the best temperature.
Note: do not start continuous feeding, otherwise the load of the mixing motor will increase due to the serious deviation of the density of beads in the machine, resulting in shutdown or other serious consequences.
The second pre delivery is to put 6-7kg of the primary pre delivery beads into the secondary feeding hopper, open the feeding gate to carry out the secondary pre delivery, and at the same time, make the primary pre delivery device rotate to avoid the beads entering the primary pre launching device and pre sending, so as to block the primary pre delivery device. The feeding gate is opened to feed continuously until the bead particles flow out of the overflow port. According to the working conditions, the density of beads should be measured at intervals.
3. Density adjustment
A steam regulating valve is installed on the operation panel of the machine to control the amount of steam entering the pre generator. The steam pressure gauge indicates the value, which is generally controlled at about 0.15 ~ 0.2MPa. The operation panel is also equipped with a temperature regulating valve to regulate the inlet air temperature by controlling the amount of air blown in. At this time, the temperature inside the machine can be adjusted carefully according to the indicated value of the thermometer on the plate and the density of the pre sent beads. During the adjustment process, the temperature inside the machine needs about 30 seconds to stabilize, and the density takes 3 to 5 minutes to stabilize.
The adjustment of density can be realized by adjusting temperature, feeding speed and bead overflow. However, in the first pre delivery, the temperature is mainly regulated, while in the second pre delivery, the feed quantity is mainly adjusted, which is slightly different due to the different quality of raw materials. The same is true of the use and adjustment of machines that are only pre issued once or twice.
4. End of advance
Before the end of pre delivery, close the hopper inlet gate and stop feeding. The machine must continue to run, and the mixer still needs to work for 5-8 minutes, so that all the raw materials finally entering the machine can be pre dispatched. After the raw materials in the standby system are fully pre sent, the compressed air valve on the operation panel shall be opened first, and the steam valve shall be closed. When the temperature in the machine drops below 60 ºC, the compressed air valve shall be closed, and the lower small door shall be opened. Due to the agitation of the mixing rod, the remaining beads in the pre starter shall be continuously discharged from the small door. When the discharged beads are rare, the compressed air shall be opened intermittently to make the inside of the machine All the beads were discharged. Stop the machine, close all valves, open the cleaning door for thorough cleaning, and then cut off the main power supply.
